“As for Uruknet, I must admit perplexity at the fact the website has not commented on this article, as it attacks several writers that have appeared on the site regularly. I have supported the website in the past, have assailed Google on its behalf when they delisted the website, and for this support I am routinely called the “Uruknet spokesman” and “supporter of Saddam Hussein,” scurrilous comments that surfaced on the aforementioned Wikipedia entry. I spent much time deleting these accusations, only to see them reappear, until I demanded the entry be locked.
It is probably a godsend that Uruknet has apparently decided to stop reposting my articles. I am tired of being accused of supporting the dead Saddam Hussein. I understand the people of Uruknet consider him a hero, but for me he was yet another sadistic butcher, and one installed by the United States. There is no shortage of sadistic butchers in this world and obviously no shortage of people who see them for other than what they are. It is a perennial and habitual mistake.”
